ㅤpersonalityㅤ prideful to a fault, milagro is a man who bears the heavy weight of expectation with grace since he was but a child. he has the ego to match one who has excelled in almost all fields—and willingly ignores those he hasn't. he chases the secrets of others with this same confidence, poking and prodding at them simply to sate his own curiosity. he knows the game, and plays it well.

ㅤbiographyㅤ it begins, as always, with an offering of blood.the young man pants as he returns to his senses, his blade bloodied with the viscera of the beasts dead at his feet. he turns his gaze to a nearby onlooker: his mentor, masked and watching. the mentor offers but a single nod, yet that's enough to summon a wide grin to the young man's face.the rite is second nature by this point. this will be one of the last times the young man conducts it with supervision. soon, it will be his rite alone, his responsibility to reach for the abyss within to hear its will.the voice, as always, is loud. resounding. it engulfs the young man, his leporine ears ringing with the compulsions the abyss imparts on him. it urges him to listen to his darkest instincts, but one impression rings out above all the others.defend. guard. protect.he will ensure the safety of those in his life—and woe to those who get in his way.

a dark knight's dawn

milagro's training started when he was no more than ten winters old. though the details are shadowed in mystery, the fact remains that he traveled often within the coerthan area until he was twenty summers of age. his mentor was no less mysterious, an ever-masked shade that might have been a figment of one's imagination. he only separated from their side once they deemed him a master.

a restless soul

milagro's early adulthood was further characterized by constant travel. he traveled wherever the fury's whims sent him; he used the dark arts he'd learned to protect himself on the road. he seemed to always return to ishgard, as though it was a lodestone constantly calling out to him. he traveled with little more than whispered words and shrouded intentions—until dalamud's fall.

the seventh calamity

the loss of the lesser moon was catastrophic to the entirety of eorzea, though some argue that the once-verdant reaches of coerthas were impacted the most. in the middle of it all was milagro, torn to and fro by responsibilities he would shrug off as mere work. this same work pulled him for a short period to kugane, though he quickly returned to ishgard's frozen reaches.

the prodigal protector

now, milagro maintains a constant schedule of traveling across the three great continents. he's vague and dodgy about why, exactly, he does this. if anyone asks, however, he will gladly give them enough information to make them feel like he's giving them all the important details. he pursues secrets and information relentlessly, and doesn't ever stay in one place for too long.

milagro is a man who's been around. given his tall stature and distinct speckled ears, it's possible that he'll be recognized by those in areas he's been to before—though he goes to great lengths to avoid this very thing.

ㅤdark knightㅤ

ishgard has no shortage of rumors and superstitions, though the whispers about dark knights are more grounded than most. those from ishgard might recognize his style of combat, or the source of his passion-fueled strength.

ㅤwhip's affiliateㅤ

patrons of the hydra's whip, a secret arena in the heart of the shroud, might be familiar with him. an affiliate that fights under the name svya, he's known for being an indomitable combatant that puts on quite the show.

ㅤcurious rabbitㅤ

curious and nosy by default, milagro sniffs out secrets like a bloodhound. he enjoys teasing and frustrating, the game of cat-and-mouse. perhaps he looks into others even whilst hidden in the shadows.

♚ㅤjanus

there's an implicit trust there that doesn't exist with many people. milagro would lay down his life for janus without question. he is the reason milagro is so dedicated.

♚ㅤcardamome

they understand each other, which means they needle each other. still, there's an undercurrent of care that still surprises milagro to this day.

♚ㅤnene

they're one of milagro's younger siblings, which means he's all the more fiercely protective of them. he tries to be their favorite brother, but they're fickle.

♚ㅤchristiane

cocky youth is never a good mix for cocky maturity. milagro enjoys needling, and christiane enjoys being insubordinate. a volatile combination.

♚ㅤthe whip

what they have is a decadent indulgence that milagro knows he should stop allowing. but surely just one more time can't hurt, can it?

♚ㅤthelonious

neither of them will speak on their secrets, on their pasts. thelonious is good for small talk, for jokes, but milagro remains wary.

♚ㅤava

ava is a breath of fresh air—in a literal sense. they both enjoy a life of travel, of outdoors, even when others may not understand.

♚ㅤaurora

aurora has been burned before, her trust in others injured. still, she has a good heart, and milagro seeks to protect it however he can.
